Complete guide to using DoctorOS BD
Registration & Verification
Creating an account
Navigate to /auth/register and fill in your name, email, password, and BMDC registration number. An email OTP is sent to verify your email address.
Verification process
Our administrative team verifies your BMDC registration number against official records. Verification typically completes within 1–2 business days.
Accessing the platform
Once approved, full clinical features are unlocked. While pending, you can review your account settings and profile.
Doctor Profile
Completing your profile
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Profile. Fill in your qualifications, specialization, chamber name, address, and consultation fees. This information appears cleanly in the prescription header.
Digital signature & stamp
Upload your digital signature and clinic stamp (PNG format with transparent background). These are automatically inserted on finalized prescriptions.
Patient Queue (Clinical Hub)
The Central Clinical Engine
The Patient Queue (/dashboard/queue) is the central workspace for all daily clinic activities. All patient registrations and consultations start here.
Queueing Walk-in Patients
Type a new patient's name in the search bar and click "Add to Queue". When you click "Start Consultation", the system automatically registers the patient, assigns a unique Patient ID (#PI-...), and opens their consultation.
Linking Existing Patients
Search by patient name, phone number, or Patient ID. Select the matching registered patient from the autocomplete dropdown to instantly link their entire medical history.
Dashboard Overview
Daily clinical stats
The dashboard displays Patients Today, Prescriptions Today, Visits Today, and Pending Follow-ups Today, auto-refreshing every 30 seconds.
Fast Navigation
Quick access buttons take you straight to your active Patient Queue and recent patient records.
Patient Records & Notes
Active Consultation Banner
When consulting a patient from the queue, a persistent top banner allows you to Write Prescription or Complete Consultation with 1 click.
Clinical Notes
Add private, doctor-only clinical observations, findings, and history to the patient chart. Notes are never printed on patient-facing prescriptions.
Complete Medical History
Review all past diagnoses, previous prescriptions, vital trends, and follow-up records in one unified timeline.
Prescription Authoring
Structured Prescriptions
Record chief complaints, clinical diagnoses, vitals (BP, pulse, temp, SpO2, weight), medicines, investigations, and clinical advice.
Real-time Draft Auto-saving
Drafts are continuously auto-saved. If you navigate away or close your browser, your draft is safely restored on your next visit.
Draft Auto-purge on Finalization
Once you finalize a prescription, previous temporary drafts for that patient are automatically cleaned up, keeping your workspace clean.

Brand & Generic Database
Search Bangladeshi brand names or generic molecules with instant autocompletion. Dosage form and strength are populated automatically.
Quick Frequency & Duration Presets
Select standard Bangladesh clinical presets (e.g., 1+0+1, 1+1+1, Before meal, 5 days) with a single click.
Bilingual Advice Snippets
Insert pre-configured clinical advice in English or Bangla with 1-click snippets for diet, rest, and lifestyle guidelines.
Automated Follow-ups
Automated Queue Enqueuing
When you schedule a follow-up date during a prescription, the patient is automatically placed in your Patient Queue when the scheduled date arrives.
Automatic Completion Sync
When the follow-up consultation is finished (either via a new prescription or 1-click Complete), the follow-up status is automatically updated to "Completed in Queue".
Completing Consultations
Dual Consultation Pathways
DoctorOS supports both full prescription creation and 1-click consultation conclusion for routine checkups, report reviews, and follow-ups.
1-Click Complete Consultation
If a returning patient requires no new medicine, click "Complete Consultation" in the patient profile banner, prescription footer, or queue card to record the visit and conclude the session.
Print & PDF Sharing
A4 Optimized Layout
Prescriptions are formatted strictly for standard A4 clinical printing with clear header, patient demographics, Rx body, and doctor credentials.
Instant Sharing (Pro & Max)
Pro and Max plans allow sharing finalized prescriptions directly with patients via WhatsApp, Email, or downloading high-resolution PDFs. Free tier includes standard browser printing.
Signature & Stamp
Automatic Insertion
Uploaded transparent PNG signatures and digital stamps are automatically inserted at the bottom right of the prescription upon finalization.
Billing & Plans
Subscription Tiers
Free tier allows trial access (10 lifetime patients & prescriptions). Pro plan provides 70 patients, 70 prescriptions, 5 custom templates, Drug Interaction safety, and 7-day analytics. Max plan provides 150 patients, 150 prescriptions, 10 custom templates, Drug Interaction safety, and the Advanced Clinical Intelligence Suite (Antibiotic stewardship, demographics, and morbidity trends).
bKash/Nagad/Rocket Verification
Submit payment via local mobile financial services. Subscriptions are activated upon admin verification, with a 7-day early renewal window preserving existing time.
